Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Mehedi Hasan Mridul ("we", "us") for the OneTake iOS app ("the App"). By downloading the App and tapping "Agree & Continue" (or by using the App), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1.What OneTake Is

OneTake is an offline-first teleprompter and camera studio: you write scripts, read them from a scrolling prompter while the camera records, optionally react over clips, then trim, grade with 3D LUTs, and export finished takes to your Photos library or share sheet. The App works fully on your device, requires no account, and sends us no analytics.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age for digital consent where you live) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your country, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms for you.

3.Your Content — You Own It

Everything you create in the App — scripts, recordings, edits, exports — belongs to you. We claim no ownership, license, or rights over your content, and we never see it: it lives on your device until you choose to save or share it.

You are responsible for your content. In particular:

4.Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) copy, resell, or redistribute the App itself (your own videos are yours — see §3); (b) reverse-engineer or circumvent the App or its Pro entitlement checks; (c) abuse free trials (e.g. serial new accounts to repeat trials) or the refund process; (d) interfere with the App's operation or with Apple's or RevenueCat's purchase infrastructure.

5.OneTake Pro — Subscriptions and Lifetime

Some features (recording and exporting, among others marked in-app) require OneTake Pro, sold as auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system:

Billing, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms — not by us. To cancel, turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; deleting the App alone does not cancel. If your plan lapses, the App returns to view-only mode (your library stays visible; recording and export re-lock). Use Restore Purchases to recover Pro on a new device. Prices include applicable taxes where required and may change going forward; existing paid periods are never repriced retroactively.

6.License and Intellectual Property

We (not Apple) license the App to you: a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use it on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms. The App, its design, LUT grades, and trademarks are owned by Mehedi Hasan Mridul and protected by law. These Terms grant no ownership in any of that. If you give feedback, you permit us to use it without obligation.

7.Availability and Backups

We aim to keep the App reliable, but recording, editing, and export depend on your device (storage, battery, camera, OS). Back up takes that matter to you (save to Photos or share them out). To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for lost recordings, lost files, or device issues.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the App is limited to the amount you paid us (via App Store purchases) in the 12 months before the claim — or, if you paid nothing, $10. We are never liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you hold under mandatory consumer law.

9.Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it (active subscriptions continue per Apple's terms until cancelled — see §5). We may suspend access for material breach of these Terms. §§3, 6, 7, 8, and 10 survive.

10.Changes, Governing Law, Contact

We may update these Terms (for example when features change); material changes bump the in-app legal version and ask for acceptance again. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, excluding conflict rules, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh; mandatory consumer protections of your home country still apply.
